As a Wisconsin native and a lifelong resident of the greater Green Bay area, I want to give back to my community and support the freedoms and opportunities that we have known in this state for many years. Recently, I realized that the best way to address my concerns about our state government is to step up and work for positive changes that preserve conservative values.
I am married to Ben and have four wonderful children ages 9 to 23. My oldest son has graduated from St Norbert College and is currently serving as a second lieutenant in the United States Army.
After graduating from Green Bay East High School, I received my bachelor's degree in education from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. I furthered my studies by completing my master's degree in education from Walden University. After this I taught 6th-grade students in the Ashwaubenon public school system. When I started a family, I opened Joyful Hearts Family Childcare center which I owned and operated for 10 years. Currently I assist my husband in the operation of our family business, Classic Carpet Cleaning.
I am motivated to run for office by my deep desire to serve the community. I have always valued serving others. Some of my early memories of service include when I worked alongside my father in his work with the DAV, Disabled American Veterans, which instilled a deep value of community service that I still live out today. I have held two terms on the GBACH Board (GBACH is a 501(c)3 education oriented non-profit in the Greater Green Bay Area). Other ways I have contributed to my community include serving on the board for the YMCA swim team, being a parent manager for the Green Bay Boy Choir and Girl Choir, and many years as a soccer coach for DPRYS. I have served as a youth leader and on the leadership committee at Christ Alone Church in Green Bay, WI.
As a political candidate you can look to me to stand up for conservative values. With a strong belief in personal and economic freedom, I support free trade and limited government. I believe that as Americans, we need to work to preserve the guiding principles that were laid out by our founding fathers to keep our nation free.
